Sara + Jason

I am finally able to post a few photos from the wedding. It turned out to be a beautiful afternoon, considering each weekend before was rainy. I had such a wonderful time working with Sara and Jason and hope to work with them again in the future. I can't wait to start designing the album.
To Marianne and Richard... I had a pleasure working with the both of you too. It so nice to see all the love you have for Sara. Thanks so much for everything.

Sara

This portrait session was in the works for a long time. We scheduled several times, but each time it got rained out. So the saying "third times a charm" is so true. I couldn't have asked for better weather. Sara looked amazing, and we had a great time. I can't wait till Nov 7th for the wedding. At least one shot from this session will be displayed at the reception. I will post later the shot that was chosen. The last shot is with a group of 8th graders on a field trip who watched as I did some of the photos. I think they had fun watching. To my friend Tracy...thanks so much for playing assistant and helping with my second light.

This is one of my favorite shots.

Marci + Barry+ Little Andy

I had a fun time taking these photos and it was such a great day. I took them to Brookside Gardens and I found out that it's the place where Barry proposed to Marci, so it made for the perfect place to take Andy's one year old photos.

Tracy and Derrick

I was so excited to do this July 4th wedding. I did Tracy and Derrick's engagement photos several month prior. They were one of the first couples to book after I did my first bridal show. They are a great couple.
The day started early in the morning at the brides home with her family and bridesmaids. Tracy was a calm and relaxed bride who wanted to enjoy every moment of the day. Alan, my rockin assistant, spent the morning with the guys.
After the ceremony the entire bridal party headed over to Brookside Gardens for some fun photos before the reception at the Dullas Hyatt.
The reception was a blast and the dance floor was never empty. Glow rings were passed around the evening ended with some 4th of July sparkle.
Alan and I thank you both for a great evening.

Katie and Dan

I was so excited to do Katie and Dan's wedding. I remember Katie when she was in elementary school, since she was the reading mentor to one of my boys.
Katie and Dan had a great wedding and even though the weather started out super crazy it ended up being a fantastic day. The reception was held at The Comus Inn which looks out onto Sugerload Mountain. It made for such a beautiful setting. Congratulations!!! Enjoy your honeymoon in Mexico.
Hey Dan...Have you been able to stop fiddling with your new ring yet???

Notice that Dan is playing with his ring?

Peggy and Dean

What a great family. Peggy and Dean have been married for many years and have 5 great kids. They renewed their vows in a traditional catholic ceremony. The reception was a blast and Peggy surprised Dean by having a casino style reception. Everyone had a great time and I even got to play a few hands of blackjack.
Best wishes to you and your family.

Memorial Day 2009

My sons Sea Cadet Unit and other units from around the area had the privledge of marching again in the Washington DC Memorial Day parade.
This year besides marching in formation many of the cadet marched while holding the worlds largest Naval flag. It was huge and cadets family member were able to help out in carrying it.
The first few photos are of Ernest Borgnine who was one of the honories for the parade. He spoke and honored many of our fallen soldiers.

Mayra and Kyle

What a fun wedding. The dancing never seemed to stop and everyone had a blast. There were a few sprinkles of rain but not enough to put a damper on the day. The one year old ring bearer was so good and cute as a button. I'm still amazed he walked down the aisle.
I look forward to working on designs for the album and will hopefully post when it's complete.

Nik and Lamar

I met Nik and Lamar at the end of last summer when I did their engagement photos. They were one of the first couples who booked me after my website was updated. They are a great couple and you can tell how much they love each other.
The weather turned out to be beautiful despite a little wind that made for an interesting lighting of the unity candle.
Thank you both for allowing me to capture your special day.

Autumn and Chris

Autumn and Chris got married this past Saturday. The weather didn't turn out to be the best but that didn't put a damper on the day....It was a blast!!!
Autumn has been a great friend for over a decade and she reminded me that right after we first met I told her that one day I would shoot her wedding. It was an honor. The reception was held in Baltimore at the National Aquarum. It was so much fun...all the guest had the opportunity to take a tour of the Aquarium before the reception started.
I hope you both have a relaxing honeymoon.
To my assistant Alan...Thanks so much for all your help, You ROCK !!!
