We scheduled several times, but each time it got rained out. So the saying <em>"third times a charm"</em> is so true. I couldn't have asked for better weather. Sara looked amazing, and we had a great time. I can't wait till Nov 7th for the wedding. At least one shot from this session will be displayed at the reception. I will post later the shot that was chosen. The last shot is with a group of 8th graders on a field trip who watched as I did some of the photos. I think they had fun watching. I did <a href="http://ekingphotography.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html">Tracy and Derrick's engagement photos</a> several month prior. They were one of the first couples to book after I did my first bridal show. They are a great couple. <br />The day started early in the morning at the brides home with her family and bridesmaids. Tracy was a calm and relaxed bride who wanted to enjoy every moment of the day. Alan, my rockin assistant, spent the morning with the guys.<br />After the ceremony the entire bridal party headed over to <a href="http://www.brooksidegardens.com">Brookside Gardens</a> for some fun photos before the reception at the Dullas Hyatt.<br />The reception was a blast and the dance floor was never empty. It was huge and cadets family member were able to help out in carrying it.<br />The first few photos are of Ernest Borgnine who was one of the honories for the parade. This article and photos are in the DC, Maryland & Virginia issue.<br /><br />The issue came out this month and I am so excited. I am happy with the photos that they chose and also wish they used some other great images too. You will see a photo that looks blue and it is an editor post-it that got printed with some notes instead of one of my photos. Wootton High School Presents the musical <strong>HONK</strong>. The musical is based off the book the Ugly Duckling. I had opportunity to photograph the cast and the crew. The cast was in the middle of sound check. The crew (dressed in black) I hold near and dear to my heart since I was part of the crew during my days <em>(25 + years ago)</em>at the same high school.
